What is Nacpan Beach Villas?

Individual villas at Nacpan Beach Villas among palm trees in late afternoon light, El Nido
Separate structures among the palms — a door of your own rather than a corridor.

Anyone who has taken children on holiday knows the eight o’clock problem.

They are finally asleep. It is dark. And you are now sitting in the bathroom with the light off, or whispering on a balcony the width of a chair, or going to bed at half eight yourself because there is nowhere else in the room to be.

A villa solves this in a way no hotel room can. There is a door, and then there is a terrace, and the terrace belongs to you — so the evening keeps going while the kids sleep twenty feet away with the sound of the sea over everything.

Nacpan Beach Villas is built for exactly the travelers a standard hotel layout serves worst: families, groups of friends, and couples staying long enough that they want somewhere to live rather than somewhere to sleep. The villas sit directly on Nacpan Beach, close enough that the water becomes the soundtrack to the whole stay.

What are the villas like?

Living room and staircase inside a duplex villa at Nacpan Beach Villas, El Nido
The duplex villas run over two levels, with a living room downstairs and bedrooms above.

Space is part of it. The private terrace is most of it.

Breakfast happens out there, with the beach directly in front and nobody at the next table. The afternoon happens out there, when it is too hot to be on the sand and too early to be anywhere else. And the evening happens out there, which is the point.

In-villa amenities
Air conditioning
Nespresso machine
Private terrace
Bathrobes
En-suite bathroom
Japanese washlet
Flat-screen TV with Netflix
Free WiFi

Guests describe the villas as spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully finished. Bathrooms get named specifically, several villas run over two levels, and the small things — the Nespresso machine, the robes, the washlet — are the kind of detail that tells you someone was paying attention.

One practical note that will save your group a bad first hour. Villa naming across third-party booking sites has caused occasional confusion, with some units positioned back within the property rather than directly on the sand. Booking direct fixes this entirely: you can confirm exactly which villa you are getting, and where it sits, before you travel. That conversation is simply not available when your reservation is masked behind an OTA.

What is Nacpan Beach like?

From the air — the villas, the palms, and four kilometers of sand.

Four kilometers of powdery gold sand, and — this is the part that surprises people — barely anyone on it.

The distance from town that makes some travelers hesitate is precisely what has protected this beach. You can walk for half an hour and pass a handful of people. The villas open straight onto it: direct access, loungers, and a shoreline that goes on longer than your ambition to walk it.

Head south and Calitang Beach joins Nacpan at a low headland, with the twin beaches viewpoint on the hill between them — both beaches falling away in opposite directions, Lalutaya Island offshore, and the whole thing best in the last hour of light.

What can you do around Nacpan Beach?

Spa treatment room with massage beds at the Nacpan property, El Nido, Palawan
Massage treatment beds — the spa is shared across the Nacpan properties.
  • On the sand: swimming, sunbathing, the long walk, and a sunset over the water every single evening
  • The twin beaches climb: a short hike for the view everyone comes here to see
  • For slowing down: spa treatments and massages brought to your villa
  • On the water: island hopping Tours A, B, C, and D, departing El Nido town around 9:00 AM

Dining nearby is limited to the on-site and neighbouring beachfront restaurants, so either plan a couple of dinners in town or lean into the quiet. Most groups end up doing the second thing without meaning to.

How do you get to Nacpan Beach Villas?

Nacpan sits 22 km north of El Nido town, around 40 to 45 minutes by road, and roughly 30 minutes from Lio Airport.

Skip the tricycle. Sections of the road are unpaved and get genuinely rough in the rainy season — not what you want with luggage and tired children.

Option 1: Fly direct to Lio Airport (fastest)

RouteAirportApprox. flight time
Clark → El NidoClark International (CRK)~1 hr 35 min
Cebu → El NidoMactan-Cebu International (CEB)~1 hr 45 min

Flights are operated by Cebgo, the Cebu Pacific subsidiary that now runs the former AirSWIFT routes. Since 29 March 2026 there is no direct Manila–El Nido flight — the route operates as Clark–El Nido.

Option 2: Fly to Puerto Princesa, then travel overland

Fly into Puerto Princesa (PPS) and continue north for five to six hours by road, then a further 45 minutes to Nacpan.

Booking the overland leg. Three ways to cover Puerto Princesa to El Nido, depending on comfort and budget:

OptionWhat it suitsBook it
Cherry Bus air-conditioned coachBest value on the route. Reclining seats, luggage hold, fixed daily departures, and the most comfortable way to do five hours on Palawan roadsCheck Cherry Bus schedules and fares
Shared vanFaster and more frequent, but tighter on space and luggageCompare van seats and times
Private transferDoor to door on your own scheduleArrange a private transfer

If you are weighing coach against van, the coach is the one we point most travelers to. The seats recline properly, there is a luggage hold rather than bags on your lap, and the extra thirty or forty minutes buys you an arrival where you can still face dinner.

Option 3: Ferry from Coron

Fast-craft ferries from Coron reach El Nido in about 3.5 hours, with a road transfer onward. Check ferry schedules and book.

Getting around locally: a shuttle service serves the coastal route including Nacpan. Staying out here also makes a rental car worth considering — it turns the Nacpan road from a daily negotiation into a non-issue. Moving on from El Nido

Most people pair El Nido with somewhere else, and the connections are straightforward once you know what runs.

Book the Coron ferry ahead in high season — it sells out, and the alternative is losing a day.

What comes up again and again is the position — waking up and the beach simply being there, with nothing between you and it. The recurring note is remoteness, which for almost everyone staying here is the reason they came.
