What is Nacpan Beach Glamping?
At some point around three in the morning you will need the bathroom, and this is when it happens.
You unzip the tent, step out barefoot onto sand still warm from yesterday, and look up — and there is no orange glow on the horizon, no streetlight, no hotel corridor lighting. There is just the entire sky, thick with stars, the way it looked to everyone on earth before we started leaving lights on. The palms are moving somewhere above you. The sea is doing what the sea does, two hundred metres away.
Nobody books this place for that moment because nobody knows to. It is the one they talk about afterward.
Nacpan Beach Glamping occupies a full hectare and holds nine tents. That ratio is the whole idea. Around 300 palms and 3,000 shrubs were planted to screen the tents from one another, so you step out into greenery and catch the sea through the gaps rather than across a crowded deck. It buys a kind of privacy that resorts at twice the rate cannot manufacture.

What are the tents like?
Whatever image the word “tent” just put in your head — the damp school trip, the pole that never fits — replace it.
These are six meters across, built from heavy-duty 360gsm cotton canvas, with enough headroom for a six-foot adult to stand up properly and roughly the floor area of a standard double hotel room. Zipped mesh and PVC windows let you choose your climate: open it up and the sea breeze runs straight through, or seal it and let the air-conditioning do its work.
Inside, someone with taste made every decision. Sisal rugs underfoot. A Japanese paper pendant light overhead. A neutral palette, two queen beds with proper bedding, a designer chair, two pouffes. It is restrained rather than themed, which is why it does not feel like a novelty after the first night.

Two things to know before you book, said plainly. The bathrooms are shared rather than en-suite — clean and well kept, but a short walk from your tent. And the air-conditioning runs at night during the dry season rather than around the clock.

What is Nacpan Beach like?
Four kilometers. That is the number that matters, and it is hard to picture until you are standing on it.
The sand is powdery and cream-gold and hot underfoot by ten. The beach is consistently ranked among the finest in Asia, and yet you can walk for twenty minutes and pass fewer people than you would in a supermarket. The distance from town that puts some travelers off is exactly the thing protecting it.
Walk south for about nine minutes and you hit Calitang Beach, joined to Nacpan at a low headland. Climb the hill between them and both beaches unfold in opposite directions with Lalutaya Island sitting offshore — the twin beaches viewpoint, and the best thing you will do here that does not involve a boat.
What can you do at Nacpan Beach Glamping?
- On the property: a private pool with a small bar attached, massages under the palms, film nights after dark, and a lit garden for the walk back from dinner
- On the beach: swimming, the long walk in either direction, and the Calitang climb
- Dining: Sunmai Beach Bar & Resto does international and Filipino cooking with the sea in front of it — fresh seafood, spicy squid, grilled tanigue, and pizza that has no business being that good this far from anywhere

How do you get to Nacpan Beach Glamping?
Nacpan is about 22 km north of El Nido town — roughly 45 minutes — and around 30 minutes from Lio Airport.
The resort gives one piece of advice directly, and it is worth repeating: do not take a tricycle. Stretches of that road are unpaved, and in the rainy season the last section is genuinely punishing. Arrange a proper transfer.
Option 1: Fly direct to Lio Airport (fastest)
Direct flights into Lio Airport are operated by Cebgo (the Cebu Pacific subsidiary that now operates the former AirSWIFT routes):

Important for Manila travelers: as of 29 March 2026, all Cebgo and former AirSWIFT turboprop flights moved from Manila (MNL) to Clark. There is no longer a direct Manila–El Nido flight.
Option 2: Fly to Puerto Princesa, then travel overland
Fly into Puerto Princesa (PPS) and head north for five to six hours by road, then a further 45 minutes up to Nacpan.

Option 3: Ferry from Coron
